Trading ideas: TCS, Samaiden, Nisko Capital, TH Heavy Engineering


KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Thursday include TCS, Samaiden, Nisko Capital, TH Heavy Engineering, Awanbiru Technology, Bintai Kinden and Tan Chong Motor.

Sand TCS has won a RM126mil contract from Saujana Permai Development Sdn Bhd to build a condominium project in Bandar Saujana Putra.

Samaiden has inked a 20-year solar power purchase agreement with Perbadanan Pengurusan Sunway Nexis, under which the latter will purchase electricity generated from a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) power system that will be developed by Samaiden.

Nisko Capital has entered into a joint venture agreement with Mutiara Mahajuta Sdn Bhd for dual phases development of approximately 65.56 hectares (162 acres) of land in Alor Gajah, Melaka.

Trading in TH Heavy Engineering securities will be suspended on Dec 9, as its appeal for an additional six months up to April 22 next year to submit its regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities has been rejected by Bursa Securities.

Awanbiru Technology has secured a contract worth RM75.89 million to provide Google Workspace Solution services to Pernec Integrated Network Systems Sdn Bhd.

Pharmaniaga will embark on setting up a halal insulin manufacturing plant at its high-technology plant in Pharmaniaga Lifesciences Puchong, according to the group’s managing director Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope.

Bintai Kinden has inked a MoU with Charter Built Sdn Bhd to jointly develop a piece of industrial land near KLIA with a potential gross development value of not less than RM700mil.

Tan Chong Motor said it has terminated its commercial papers and medium term notes (MTN) programmes worth a combined nominal value of RM1.5bil.

This came after the full redemption of the notes which were outstanding under the MTN programme with a nominal value of RM500 million on Nov 24.

Meanwhile, JF Ape Research expects bargain-hunting to emerge on the FBM KLCI as it retests the psychological level of 1,500 points.

The index tumbled 17.05 points or 1.13% on Wednesday to 1,496.93.
