Bursa Malaysia end sharply lower, CI down 2.01%

On the index board, the FBM Emas Index decreased 228.83 points to 11,330.17, the FBMT 100 Index dipped 229.59 points to 10,959.50, the FBM 70 went down 332.58 points to 14,969.79, the FBM Emas Shariah Index erased 225.52 points to 12,366.07, and the FBM ACE reduced 45.94 points to 7,050.23.

Sector-wise, the Industrial Products and Services Index eased 4.65 points to 202.14, the Plantation Index lost 75.41 points to 6,713.41, and the Financial Services Index tumbled 431.94 points to 15,157.27.
