Petronas: Rights over land in Sudan in accordance with laws


The national oil company said it has been jointly working with Malaysia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry to exercise all diplomatic channels with the authorities in Sudan to amicably resolve the issue.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has stressed that its rights over the land at the Petronas Complex in Khartoum, Sudan were obtained in accordance with the rightful applicable laws.

In a written reply to Bernama’s query, the national oil company said it has been jointly working with Malaysia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry to exercise all diplomatic channels with the authorities in Sudan to amicably resolve the issue.
