Serba Dinamik nominates new statutory auditor


In a statement, Serba Dinamik said it was subject to professional clearance from KPMG PLT in accordance to section 320 by-law of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, among others.

PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has nominated Nexia SSY PLT to fill in the vacancy as its new statutory auditor in accordance with the Companies Act 2016 for the financial year ended June 30, 2021.

In a statement, Serba Dinamik said it was subject to professional clearance from KPMG PLT in accordance to section 320 by-law of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, among others.

“The board of directors, including the audit and risk committee of Serba Dinamik is committed in ensuring the nomination is based on the objectivity and independence as well as the sound performance of the external auditor,” Serba Dinamik chairman Datuk Mohamed Ilyas said in a statement.

It was based on the criteria set by the board which is in line with legislative promulgations such as Companies Act 2016, Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (Amendment 2012) and the listing requirements, he said.
