BHIC unit gets job extension for submarines


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said Boustead DCNS Naval Corp Sdn Bhd – a joint-venture company between its subsidiary BHIC Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd and Naval Group – accepted the additional letter of acceptance from the Defence Ministry.(File pic shows a BHIC ship yard.)

PETALING JAYA: A unit of Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC) has received a one-year extension for its contract to provide in-service support for the Prime Minister’s class submarines for the Royal Malaysian Navy.

The contract is valued at RM159.15mil.
