RM9.6mil contract for Powerwell

PETALING JAYA: Powerwell Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM9.6mil contract to supply and install dry type transformer, switchgear and load break switch.

The contract is for an expansion project of a leading multi-national corporation’s semiconductor assembly plant and testing facility in Penang.

It said the supply contract, won by its wholly owned subsidiary Powerwell International Sdn Bhd, is expected to be completed by end of November 2021.

The job is expected to contribute positively to the group’s consolidated earnings and net assets for the financial year ending March 31, 2022.
