KAB appoints Dr Ong Peng Su as new chairman

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB), an electrical and mechanical engineering services provider, has appointed Datuk Dr Ong Peng Su as its independent non-executive chairman, taking over from Yoong Kah Yin effective today.

In a statement today, the company said Ong graduated from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, with a First Class Honours BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He then pursued his Doctor of Philosophy in Power Systems and was subsequently awarded his PhD in 1982.
