SMEs not in favour of continued travel ban

SME Association president Michael Kang: “We do not agree to having travel bans between states and districts to go on. It is affecting businesses badly. The SME industry is against this decision. The health of people is important but livelihoods should also be taken care of. ”

KUALA LUMPUR: Small businesses are not in favour of any continued travel restrictions even as the country kicks off its immunisation programme.

SMEs hope that the government can, instead, come up with a more viable solution that will enable the economy to keep running and for more sectors to reopen.
