Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar was Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s managing director.
KUALA LUMPUR: The International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) appointed Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar and Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid as board members. The appointments came into effect on Dec 15,2020.
The Islamic finance university said in a statement today that Azman has had an illustrious career in both public and corporate service bodies, of which the most recent was as Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s managing director. He served the government investment arm from June 2004 to July 2018.
"He is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Centre of Development Studies, University of Cambridge, as well as the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council member, ” INCEIF said in a statement.
Azman holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from Darwin College, University of Cambridge.
Meanwhile, Adnan Zaylani, who is Bank Negara Malaysia assistant governor, is also the current chairman of INCEIF’s executive committee and has been a member since Oct 8,2018.
Adnan Zaylani is trained in economics with 20 years of experience in financial markets.
He holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Global Markets Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. - Bernama
