Bringing agriculture producers online

“Since 2017, we’ve been helping many businesses across Malaysia to digitally sell their products in bulk and we are confident to take on this mission to help our nation’s farmers, fishermen and suppliers to go-digital, ” says Lennise Ng, (pic) co-founder and chief executive officer of Dropee.

BUSINESS-to-business (B2B) platform Dropee has partnered with the Ministry of Agriculture to enable farmers and fishermen to sell their fresh produce online to ensure that food distribution remains controlled and adequate throughout the period of the pandemic.

The initiative provides an alternative sales channel for these producers who are generally left out of the digital economy.
