Johor Tenggara to acquire Uni-Agro

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Johor Tenggara said the acquisition is part of the group’s long-term plan to increase its plantation land bank to about 50,000 hectares.

KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Tenggara Oil Palm Bhd has proposed to acquire 100% equity interest in Uni-Agro Plantation Sdn Bhd for RM9.46mil cash.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Johor Tenggara said the acquisition is part of the group’s long-term plan to increase its plantation land bank to about 50,000 hectares.
