Mindef makes claim on BHIC subsidiary


The damages claimed amounted to RM11.65mil and 461,195.09 euros for the breach of obligations under the first supplemental contract of the In-Service Support for two units of Prime Minister-Class for the Royal Malaysian Navy Submarines Contract (extended ISS Contract).

PETALING JAYA: The Defence Ministry has issued a letter to Boustead DCNS Naval Corp Sdn Bhd to claim liquidated damages involving two Royal Malaysian Navy submarines.

The damages claimed amounted to RM11.65mil and 461,195.09 euros for the breach of obligations under the first supplemental contract of the In-Service Support for two units of Prime Minister-Class for the Royal Malaysian Navy Submarines Contract (extended ISS Contract).
