PETALING JAYA: Taman Desa Medical Centre (TDMC), a Kumpulan Medic Iman (KMI) Healthcare hospital, has closed infected ward rooms and its general ward on Wednesday, following a confirmed Covid-19 case.

The wards were closed for sanitisation and management of staff quarantine.

In a press release yesterday, KMI Healthcare, which is a subsidiary of main market-listed TDM Bhd, said other hospital operations of TDMC will continue as usual.

“Healthcare workers who have been in contact with the patient have been identified for screening.

“As some of our staff need to be quarantined for 14 days, we target to reopen within 48 hours or until further notice depending on staff numbers, ” it said.
