Mavcom to assess graft claims against AirAsia


Mavcom said the allegations touched on the jurisdictions of multiple agencies in Malaysia, adding that the commission would cooperate and work with all relevant authorities on the matter.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) will assess if there is any contravention of the Malaysian Aviation Commission Act 2015 and the commission’s Guidelines on Fit and Proper Person in relations to the graft allegations involving Airbus Se, AirAsia Bhd and AirAsia X Bhd.

Mavcom said the allegations touched on the jurisdictions of multiple agencies in Malaysia, adding that the commission would cooperate and work with all relevant authorities on the matter.
