China's Nov manufacturing PMI back to expansion zone


Zhang Liqun, a researcher with the Development Research Center of the State Council, said the favourable rebound showed stabilising signs of the economy, but the foundation needs to be further consolidated.

BEIJING: The purchasing managers' index for China's manufacturing sector firmed up to 50.2 in November from 49.3 in October, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Saturday.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.
