KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara has proposed a two-stage restructuring plan to merge four development financial institutions (DFIs) into a single entity.
This is to strengthen the development finance ecosystem.
The four DFIs are Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd, Danajamin Nasional Bhd, the Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia Berhad (SME Bank) and Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd (Exim Bank).
