Malaysian palm oil price falls tracking related oils

The benchmark palm oil contract for the November delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was down 1% at 2,262 ringgit per tonne at the close. The January soyoil contract on the Dalian exchange fell 0.7%, while the Dalian January palm oil contract dropped 2%.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures slid on Wednesday, retreating from a three-week high achieved in the previous session as the market tracked softer related vegetable oils.

The benchmark palm oil contract for the November delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was down 1% at 2,262 ringgit per tonne at the close.
