Petronas executive leadership and board is a tight-knit team

With the reorganisation, Petronas Gas has now been placed under the purview of Adif Zulkifli(pic) as the EVP and CEO of the gas and new energy business division.

THERE are 47,000 employees in Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) worldwide, with nine top-level management staff. As with all companies, the movement of its workers is part of its operations and wouldn’t even be a news item unless it involves the group chief executive officer (CEO).

So, it was a bit unusual when there were news reports of the alleged departure of Petronas executive vice-president (EVP) and CEO of the upstream business, Datuk Mohd Anuar Taib, from the national oil company.
