Bintai Kinden wins DTFZ job

KUALA LUMPUR: Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd’s unit, Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM20.4mil infrastructure works contract for the Digital Free Trade Zone (DTFZ) development from Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the specialist engineering and construction firm said the contract also includes associated works for the DTFZ development at the KL International Airport, Sepang, Selangor – Main Distribution Substation.

The contract is non-renewable and is estimated to be completed within 10 months from the starting date.

“It will contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the company for the financial year ending March 31, 2020, and/or is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of Bintai Group during the duration of the contract,” it added. — Bernama
