KUALA LUMPUR: Information technology and cyber security solutions provider Silverlake Axis Ltd through its subsidiary, Silverlake MasterSAM Sdn Bhd, is collaborating with global semiconductor industry leader Intel Corp to develop an end-to-end privileged access management (PAM) solutions with hardened security.

PAM is a set of tool and solutions used to manage and control an organisation’s critical information systems, resources and data.

SilverLake MasterSAM managing director Sanjeev Dhar said the solution, Silverlake Appliance (SIA) X-300 PAM, is expected to be launched in the third quarter and would help to protect against cyber threats while providing more consistent service performance.

“The appliance creates a hardware-protected container for apps to protect confidential information at run time and at rest,” he said after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Intel.
