Aturmaju inks RM78mil MoU with Perkasa Selalu


Scomi Group Bhd surprised investors when it proposed to revise its current issued share capital reduction from RM224.96mil to RM3mil from the earlier RM40mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Aturmaju Resources Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ARB Development Sdn Bhd (ARBD), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Perkasa Selalu Sdn Bhd (PSSB) for the development of an Intelligence Modern Lifestyle Project in Selangor. 

In a statement, Aturmaju said the had a contract value of RM78mil. PSSB engaged ARBD as system, engineering, procurement, commissioning management on the project.

ARBD is also fully responsible for the financing of the smart home engineering system integration, procurement, and commissioning of the project.

PSSB is principally involves in investment in real property and housing development business.

“The trend of embracing the IoT technology in the development of projects is inevitable. Based on our study, it is no longer location that will determine whether a project is sellable or not. Instead, it is the unique offerings that comes with a project that will be the key catalyst,” Aturmaju chief executive officer (investment & technology) Datuk Larry Liew said in the statement. 

“Being a strategic partner in this project, it is our vision to focus in the supply and installation of the IoT platform, which enables residents to enjoy more functionalities and the perks of smart living, centralising the concept of comfort, security and convenience.”

“Going forward, with the expertise that our team possesses, we are confident to secure more similar projects to enhance our branding in incorporating the IoT technology into the development of property projects, as well as the financial performance of ARB,” Liew said.
