KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Thursday Dec 20.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures rose more than 2 percent to an eight-week high on Wednesday vening, tracking gains in U.S. soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade and palm olein on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange.

* U.S. soybean futures dropped to two-week lows on Wednesday as renewed export sales to China following a trade war truce between Washington and Beijing fell short of expectations.
