Abd Aziz Sheikh Fadzir resigns from Utusan


Abdul Aziz, the former member of parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baru, was first appointed to this post back in June. At that time, he took over from Tan Sri Mohamad Fatmi Che Salleh, who had resigned on May 15 as non-executive chairman.

KUALA LUMPUR: Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd executive chairman Datuk Abd Aziz Sheikh Fadzir has resigned due to other personal business commitments, the loss-making newpaper publisher said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Former Member of Parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baru was appointed to the post in June in the aftermath of Barisan Nasional’s defeat in the general election.
