KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) today announced a lower dividend distribution policy, starting from the next payout, after the telecommunication company posted its first quarterly net loss in ten years.

TM made a net loss of RM175.6mil in the three-month ended Sept 30 due to a massive RM935mil impairment charge on its network assets recognised during the quarter, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday.
