Dr Mahathir, Azmin Ali appointed to Khazanah board


Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican was among the five new faces on the board of Khazanah Nasional.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Datuk Seri Azmin Ali are among the five new appointments to Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

Below is the statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office on Monday: 

The Prime Minister’s Office wish to announce the appointment of the following to the Board of Khazanah Nasional Berhad. 

1. YAB Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad - Chairman 

2. YB Dato Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali - Director 

3. Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican - Director 

4. Dr Sukhdave Singh - Director 

5. Mr Goh Ching Yin - Director 

The appointments will take immediate effect. 

The appointment of the Managing Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad will be made at a later date.
