Ismee resigns from Media Prima

PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Bhd said its independent director Datuk Nasir Ahmad will take over the role of chairman of the company following the resignation of Tan Sri Ismee Ismail.

Nasir, 63, is a chartered accountant and the current chairman of Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd. He is also a board member of CIMB Group Holdings Bhd.

Ismee, who was made chairman in August last year, has left his post “to focus on his other commitments”, Media Prima said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
