Genting O&G gets Indonesia approval to develop gas project in West Papua


KUALA LUMPUR: Genting Bhd says a unit has received the approval from the government of Indonesia to develop gas production infrastructure in West Papua.

These structures are within the concession area for the Kasuri block in West Papua, awarded to Genting Oil Kasuri Pte Ltd (GOK) in 2008, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
