KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia, the stock exchange operator, will suspend the trading in shares of YFG Bhd and Lion Diversified Bhd on March 22 after the two companies failed to fix their financial condition.
The securities of the two companies will be delisted from Bursa Malaysia on March 26, it said.
Both YFG and Lion Diversified have until March 21 to appeal against the delisting.
The securities of the two companies will remain deposited at Bursa Depository notwithstanding the de-listing of the stocks.
“It is not mandatory for the securities of a company which has been de-listed to be withdrawn from Bursa Depository,” it said.
The shareholders of the two companies who intend to hold their securities in the form of physical certificates can withdraw these securities from their Central Depository System (CDS) accounts maintained with Bursa Depository at any time.
The companies, YFG and Lion Diversified, will continue to exist but as unlisted entities.
