NeNe Chicken opens second store at The Starling Mall

PETALING JAYA: Barely two months after opening its first outlet in Genting Highlands, NeNe Chicken continues its momentum with the launch of its second restaurant at The Starling Mall in Petaling Jaya.

NeNe Chicken also aims to open its first store in East Malaysia by this year.

The new restaurant can accommodate up to 120 customers and has an outdoor seating area. Since its opening, signature flavours such as Bulgogi, Freaking Hot and Swicy Fried Chicken has been the favourite among its customers.

“We are happy with the reception of NeNe Chicken since our launch at Genting Highlands. Our focus now is on operations and execution as to ensure all our customers enjoy our products. Other things in the pipeline is expansion in both our menu and locations! We are so excited and will roll things out in due time,” NeNe Chicken Malaysia managing director Raymond Wong said in a statement.

To celebrate its launch at The Starling, NeNe Chicken gave out free chicken meals and exclusive offers for its signature Black Sesame Soft Serve that was being sold for RM1, with the purchase of any chicken meals.

Established in 1999, the Korean Fried Chicken chain has grown to one of the largest chains in Asia, with a presence in Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong. The fried chicken is prepared according to its secret recipe, with sauces, marinate and batter all fully imported from South Korea.
