Public Mutual declares RM89m distributions for 6 funds


KUALA LUMPUR: Public Mutual Bhd has declared distributions amounting to more than RM89mil for six funds.

Public Mutual, which manages RM81.4bil in funds, said on Tuesday the total gross distributions declared were for the financial year ended Jan 31, 2018.

It said for the Public Index Fund, the distribution was two sen per unit, Public Islamic Optimal Growth Fund 0.75 sen per unit and Public Islamic Emerging Opportunities Fund 0.25 sen per unit.

As for Public Enhanced Bond Fund, the distribution was 4.50 sen per unit, Public Money Market Fund 3.10 sen per unit while PB Dividend Builder Equity Fund one sen per unit. 

Public Mutual is the largest private unit trust company in the country with more than 130 unit trust funds under its management. As at end-December 2017, the fund size managed by the company was RM81.4bil.
