Mitrajaya bags RM132.5mil contract to build condo in Putrajaya


KUALA LUMPUR: Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd has been appointed to undertake the main building works for Setia Putrajaya Sdn Bhd’s 363-unit condominium project in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, for RM132.48mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and property development group said its unit, Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd, had on Tuesday accepted the letter of award from Asima Architects Sdn Bhd, on behalf of SP Setia’s 60%-owned subsidiary Setia Putrajaya, for the appointment as contractor for the project in Precinct 15.

The works involve 35 storeys of condominium units with amenities and a five-level carpark (one levrel underground).

Mitrajaya said the contract would have a 30-month duration starting Aug 2, 2018. The project is expected to be completed by February 2021.
