Proton wins two awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton Holdings Bhd has received two awards at the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) Malaysia Car of the Year 2016 (COTY 2016) for its new and refined Saga and the all-new Persona.

The two awards, Value-for-Money Car (Proton Saga) and Most Improved Model In Fuel Efficiency (Proton Persona), were announced at the Malaysia COTY 2016 gala dinner held last night.

“Through the market study conducted, we have made refinements to the cars so that we meet the general requirements of the market segment,” said Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ahmad Fuaad Kenali in a statement here today.

The refined third-generation Saga is priced from RM36,800 to RM45,800 while the all-new Persona is from RM46,800 to RM59,800.

Ahmad Fuaad said these recognitions would further its efforts to continuously deliver good quality products and services to the customers. - Bernama
