KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd
’s unit has secured a RM160mil contract from Petronas Gas Bhd
to maintain the gas turbines at its plants in Kerteh, Kemaman, Gebeng and Kuantan. The power giant said on Wednesday TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn Bhd (TNB Remaco) would maintain the gas turbine and related equipment at the plant over a six year period.
“The six-year, long-term service agreement contract, expiring 2022, will coincide with the completion of nine hot gas path inspection (HGPI) and nine major inspection for the GE MS6001B gas turbine,” it said.
