Trading ideas: Deleum, CME, REDtone, Pestech

KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Deleum, CME, REDtone and Pestech to be among the stocks to watch on Monday.

Deleum confirmed that its chairman Datuk Izham Mahmud has received requests for proposed purchase of shares in the oil and gas related company.

CME bagged a RM48.82mil contract to supply fire fighting vehicles and provide maintenance services to Petronas Refinery & Petrochemical Corp Sdn Bhd.

REDtone is selling its entire 92.31% stake in REDTone Asia Inc to Million Vision Development International Ltd for Renminbi 38.31mil (RM23.78mil), to streamline and rationalise its operations and selling non-income generating subsidiaries.

JF Apex Research said as for Pestech, the group has won a power grid development project in Papua New Guinea worth RM52.23mil.

Last Friday, markets declined on Friday following weaker-than-expected jobs data and falling oil prices. European stocks were also lower after the Pound's flash crash and disappointing US employment data.

At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI shed 1.35 points to 1,665.38.

“Following the bearish performance in the US and Europe, the KLCI could be negative today with support at 1,650,” it said.
