Boustead Plantations sees RM120mil gain

PETALING JAYA: Boustead Plantations Bhd expects to record a gain of about RM120mil this year following its plan to further divest non-core land, said vice-chairman Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin (pic).

Boustead Plantations disposed some its non-core land - which is not suitable for plantation activities - amounting to RM57mil last year. This has largely influenced the performance of its bottomline last year, where its profit after tax increased to RM72mil compared to RM52mil in 2014.
