Biji-Biji wins top SME challenge prize


KUALA LUMPUR: Social enterprise Biji-Biji Initiative won the coveted Tan Sri Entrepreneurship Award of RM250,000 at the Alliance Bank BizSmart Academy SME Innovation Challenge 2014 Grand Finale Awards Ceremony last Friday.

The competition, in its second year, had 20 finalists from various industries undergo a month of structured business coaching, which included sessions with corporate magnates Mydin’s Datuk Wira Ameer Ali Mydin and EcoWorld director Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin, who contributed the cash award.
