PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Bhd carried 11.3 million passengers in the second quarter ended June 30, a 13% increase from a year earlier, as the low-cost carrier’s fleet size expanded to 166 planes.
The airline’s sales volume, as measured by the industry jargon, revenue passenger kilometres, which rose 10% to 12.81 billion from 11.67 billion a year earlier.
