Carlsberg Q1 earnings 3.6% higher


PETALING JAYA: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter to March 31, 2014 increased 3.56% to RM52.33mil, driven by its Malaysian operations that grew as a result of effective consumer marketing activities and cost efficiency program.

However revenue for the quarter saw a 5.27% drop to RM445.94mil from RM470.8mil a year ago.
