AIF: Disbursement of micro-finance loans to reach RM1bil

KUALA LUMPUR: The disbursement of micro-finance loans this year is expected to surge to RM1bil, due to the greater off-take by small-scale businesses, the Asian Institute of Finance (AIF) said on Friday.

Nine of the 10 participants are local banks, such as Agrobank, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Bank Islam, and the Ambank Group.
