KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd said second-quarter passenger traffic is headed for a 21% jump, matching last quarter’s increase as budget-conscious travelers look for cheap air fares.
“For the moment, things are rosy,” chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes said in a Bloomberg Television interview from Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
