PETALING JAYA: Asian stock markets rallied yesterday, driven by China’s announcement of a US$586bil package to revive growth in the world’s fourth-largest economy.
Chinese authorities said the country plans to spend 4 trillion yuan (about US$586bil) by 2010 to support domestic growth amid the global slowdown.
