SAAG unit gets S’pore contract


PETALING JAYA: SAAG Consolidated (M) Bhd’s subsidiary SAAG Shipping (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from a Singapore company to charter a vessel for 24 months with an option to charter for another 24 months in a contract valued at RM36mil.

SAAG said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday that additional equipment would be installed in the vessel for purposes of the contract, bringing the value of the vessel up to US$22mil from the earlier purchase price of US$19.7mil.
