Esquel returns after eight years

PENANG: Esquel group, the world’s top producer of branded cotton shirts such as Hugo Boss, Burberry, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger and Nautica, is reinvesting in Penang after an eight-year absence. 

Esquel is spending about US$6mil to renovate and upgrade its facility in Bayan Lepas to accommodate the bulk of its manufacturing operations which will be transferred from China.
