Mitsuoka rolls out new cars

KUALA LUMPUR: Able Automobile Sdn Bhd, the local distributor for Mitsuoka cars, targetsto sell 120 units of the newly launched Viewtand Galue models this year.

Speaking at a media briefing yesterday, executive chairman Bujang Ahmad Zaidi said he was confident the target was achievable based on good take-up rates for previous models.

“Since we introduced Mitsuoka to the local market, sales have been growing at a satisfactory and sustainable pace. The cars appeal to a niche group of classic car lovers and collectors,” he added.

Bujang said the models were targeted at the affluent market segment, which include businessmen, top government officials, and “high-flying” professionals.

Based on the estimated price of RM178,000 for Viewt and RM383,000 for Galue (both prices exclude road tax and insurance), Able is targeting RM30mil in sales this year and an annual growth of 10% to 15% in the next three years.
