China’s Chery plans to make cars in Indonesia, daily says


JAKARTA: Chinese auto maker CheryAutomobile is planning to set up aproduction base in Indonesia for its CheryQQ model aimed at the Southeast Asianmarket, an Indonesian newspaperreported yesterday. 

Bisnis Indonesia said Chery had askedIndonesia's second largest autodistributor PT Indomobil SuksesInternasional Tbk if it could produce themodel.
