Reaching new heights

Established in 1972, MASkargo handles the delivery of cargo around the world according to Malaysia Airlines global network of routes.

In 1998, with the new advanced cargo centre (ACC) in KLIA, the handling of cargo was expanded from 30,000 tonnes to a million tonnes.

And things are looking up for MASkargo.

In March 2005, the company purchased its first Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft, which can carry a load of 115,00 to 120,000 tonnes.

It also offers a combination of payload, range and speed.

Prior to the purchase, MASkargo had been operating with six 747-200 leased aircraft which could only lift 100,000 tonnes.
