KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG), a subsidiary of Petronas, recently signed a confirmation of intent (COI) with Shikoku Electric Power Co Inc to supply up to 420,000 tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 15 years, beginning 2010.
In a statement, the company said the agreement with Shikoku Electric, which was a new addition to MLNG's list of Japanese customers, came with the option to extend for another five years.
