Some key facts about the China Construction Bank's initial public offering in Hong Kong, which begins trading on Oct. 27:
_IPO is expected to raise about US$8 billion (euro6.6 billion), making it biggest offering so far this year and China's largest ever.
_The bank is one of four big Chinese state-owned commercial bank and the first to issue parent-company shares overseas. Other banks are: Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Agricultural Bank of China.
_CCB has 14,000 branches; 4.2 trillion yuan (US$522 billion;euro436 billion) in total assets, 2.4 trillion yuan ($293 billion; euro245 billion) in total loans, and 3.8 billion yuan ($467 billion; euro390) in total deposits.
_CCB is China's biggest property lender: market share for loans is 12 percent; deposits, 13 percent. - AP
