Treasury secretary: U.S. economy to grow, adapt to higher oil prices


TRUMBULL, Connecticut (AP) - Treasury Secretary John Snow on Monday predicted the U.S. economy would continue to grow at a healthy rate, saying it would adapt to higher oil prices. 

Snow, speaking to Nasdaq employees in Trumbull, also downplayed the threat of a sharp decline in U.S. housing prices, saying that prices are only "a little'' out of alignment with national incomes.''
