Growing trend in Asian wealth management


ASIANS still hold a lot of their wealth in cash but the trend towards investments and professional management of their household financial assets (HHFA) is on the rise, according to the findings of Citibank Consumer Wealth Review 2004

This regional biennial survey on savings and investments in Asia-Pacific noted that investments as a percentage of household assets had grown at 13.8% over the last decade for emerging economies like India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines (grouped as Asia 5).
